THE CHALLENGER

NAME - Piers Horner

I asked Andy for an adventure for 2014 and, after doing Rap-jumping for Challenge 12 last year, he made me a captain for one of the ones this year! I moved to London in 2012 and work in Government. I've always been keen to get more involved in raising money for charitable causes, and Challenge 12 is a great way of doing so.

I admire Unicef's work and with several of my friends having had children recently, I was really keen to support this charity in 2014.

THE CHARITY

Unicef is one of the leading charities supporting children around the world. Their fundamental aim is to uphold the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, and they work to make a lasting difference to disadvantaged children. Unicef also carry out work in emergencies to ensure that children affected get immediate and lasting support.
